TradingView placeholders substitute alert-time values into supported alert messages. Liftx’s ordinary JSON uses {{timenow}} for the trigger timestamp. The fixed market, permissions and position request still come from the Liftx setup.

Supported ordinary-message substitution

This is a fragment of alert, not a complete webhook message. TradingView replaces {{timenow}} with UTC text such as 2030-01-01T12:00:00Z. Liftx requires that exact whole-second UTC shape. The synthetic date is illustrative; replaying it does not produce a current event. Do not replace trigger time with the bar’s opening time. The deadline and identity must describe the event being emitted.

Placeholder reference and Liftx boundaries

These provider substitutions are described in TradingView’s placeholder guide. Liftx’s schema intentionally admits only its documented fields; adding chart metadata as arbitrary JSON properties is rejected.

Why a decimal placeholder is not an atomic price

Liftx represents decimals as a coefficient string and scale. A price of 123.45 is "12345" at scale 2:
Substituting {{close}} might produce "123.45", which is not an integer coefficient. Choosing a scale does not remove the decimal point. Dynamic prices require explicit conversion in Pine or a controller, using the selected instrument’s tick precision and the decimal contract. Quantities also need correct base/quote interpretation, lot validation and the setup’s canonical cap. Do not assume the chart feed and execution venue have identical tick sizes, trading sessions, contract multipliers or supported order types.

Three message mechanisms

Use one mechanism per ordered producer. Mixing order-fill messages and alert() commands for the same intent can produce two independent events. See strategy order-fill integration.
